Former Maharashtra State Minister Bharat Bhushan Raosaheb Jamkar has expressed his best wishes and stated that the award is dedicated to women who have excelled in social work in the name of Kamaltai Jamkar. This marks the 22nd year of the award. Hurzuk, Mrs. Vaishali Patil, Mrs. Pratibha Shinde, Prof. Sadhna Jhadbuke, Dr. Mandatai Amte, Mrs. Mayatai Sorte, Mrs. Rehmatbi Karim Beg Mirza, Mrs. Sumansingh Chauhan, Mrs. Mithu Devi, Sulochana Kadu, Mrs. Anuradha Koirala, Dr. Jyotsna Kukde, Mrs. Pinjaribai Ullya Pawara, Padma Shri Rahibai Soma Popere, and Mrs. Sushila Vitthalrao Sable. Raised in Mother Teresa’s orphanage, Yojana Tai has dedicated her life to the care of homeless and mentally ill individuals, as well as empowering women and serving leprosy patients. Since its inception in 2017, Smit Foundation has been actively working to care for the poor, orphans, and mentally ill individuals. Yojana Gharat has committed herself to providing shelter for those in need, considering destitute parents in society as her inspiration. The foundation works tirelessly to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged orphan children. Smit Foundation organizes various camps for students from India and abroad under Yojana Tai’s disciplined leadership. The organization focuses on tackling the neglect of elderly parents in modern society.
