‘Road Safety 2025’ Online Quiz Competition and Road Safe
Parbhani: The Shri Shivaji College of Engineering and Management, Parbhani, under the Marathwada Education Prasarak Mandal, in collaboration with the Regional Transport Office, Parbhani, organized the ‘Road Safety 2025’ Online Quiz Competition on 13th January 2025. The quiz was conducted online using a proctored method, incorporating advanced technology. A total of 430 students from Shri Shivaji College of Engineering, Shri Shivaji Polytechnic Institute, and Apurva Polytechnic Selu participated enthusiastically in this competition.
The prize distribution ceremony for the competition was held on 15th January 2025 in a spirited atmosphere. During the event, Sub-Regional Transport Officer, Mrs. Ashwini Swami, and Mr. Ashish Parashar spoke about the importance of road safety. Winners were awarded helmets and participation certificates.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp and welcoming the chief guests. Faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff were present in large numbers. A special highlight of the program was a road safety awareness rally organized by the Dhol Pathak of Gandhi Vidyalaya. A rally was also conducted from Shri Shivaji College of Engineering and Management to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, where the importance of following road safety rules was emphasized.
The program concluded with the Road Safety Pledge, led by Mr. Sule (Motor Vehicle Inspector). The event was coordinated by Prof. Raju Kulkarni, Prof. Sambhaji Sarpate, and Prof. B. R. Shinde (Department Head). This initiative proved to be a significant step in raising road safety awareness among all attendees.
The event was successfully organized, and the efforts were appreciated by the President of Marathwada Education Prasarak Mandal, Mr. Prakashdada Solanke, Secretary Mr. Satish Chavan, and Joint Secretary Mr. Anilbhau Nakhate, along with all the members of the institution.
