Parbhani- Guardian Minister Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, State Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare, Water Supply and Sanitation, Energy, Women and Child Development, and Public Works (Public Undertakings), emphasized the commitment to resolving the issues of the people of Parbhani district, improving their standard of living, and effectively implementing the welfare schemes of the Central and State governments for farmers, women, youth, and students.<\/p>\n

The main government flag hoisting ceremony was conducted today at Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Stadium in Parbhani on the occasion of India’s 76th Republic Day, where the flag was hoisted by Minister Bordikar. She addressed the gathering while delivering her congratulatory message. The event was attended by MP Sanjay Jadhav, MLA Rahul Patil, District Collector Raghunath Gawde, Superintendent of Police Ravindrasinh Pardeshi, Zilla Parishad CEO Natisha Mathur, Municipal Commissioner Dhairyasheel Jadhav, Additional District Collector Dr. Pratap Kale, Resident Deputy Collector Anuradha Dhalkari, Sub-Divisional Officer Dattu Shewale, freedom fighters, public representatives, journalists, citizens, officials, employees, and students.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The minister noted that India gained independence on August 15, 1947, and the country’s Constitution was framed by Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. On January 26, 1950, India became a Republic, and ultimate power was vested in the hands of the people. India is a great democratic nation where all authority rests with its citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Highlighting Parbhani district’s identity as a development-focused region, Minister Bordikar expressed her commitment to its comprehensive progress. She noted that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has outlined a seven-point action plan for smoother governance and daily life. She assured that this action plan would be implemented successfully in the district.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She elaborated on various initiatives for farmers, stating that government-supported schemes provide grants for modern agricultural machinery and technology. Over the past three years, more than 7,000 beneficiaries have been provided grants worth \u20b945 crore through the MahaDBT portal. Under the Bhausaheb Fundkar Horticulture Scheme, 282 hectares were brought under horticulture cultivation in 2023-24, and \u20b91.90 crore was disbursed to 127 beneficiaries. The district leads in providing benefits under the MGNREGA program. Initiatives like the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi Swavalamban Yojana and Birsa Munda Agricultural Revolution Scheme have supported farmers with new wells and other requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n
